Head Check Alert
It's difficult to prevent the spread of head lice among children in schools because there is so much close contact. A head lice infestation isn't a sign of poor personal hygiene or an unclean living environment. Head lice don't carry bacterial or viral infectious diseases. In an effort to prevent and control lice in our classrooms please check your child’s hair at least once a week. Click for parents guide.
Should a case of head lice be discovered in your child’s classroom, you will be notified by the school in accordance to TEC Ch. 38, Sec. 38.031.
